The first "SEPES" meeting was held in 1948. While the report of that meeting (see the history link) does not include a list of participants, certainly many of the founding members were present in 1949. |
Membership dues for the Southeast Philosophy of Education Society are included in the conference registration fees. The conference registration fee varies from year to year depending on the cost of the site and other considerations. In the recent past, the fee has ranged from $20-$35. This single fee includes SEPES dues, CSFE dues, and conference registration. Graduate students pay 50% of the regular fee.
